Hey Y’all –

So, I think I’ve cracked the code on the latest technology in Palliative Care.

Chocolate.

Just sayin’.     All you humans seem to like it.

I dropped some off at a client’s house yesterday, and it made her week.  And I’m not talking Hersey’s…. I’m talking about Lindor Truffles.  That’s good medicine.

That’s all for now.  Signing off.  Peace.

XoXo,

Picture1What’s up Baton Rouge?  If you haven’t met me yet, I’m coming to you live from my sofa.  It’s pretty comfy, and is where I hang out when I’m not working.  Most days, I stare at the cars from here, but  I think its time to start putting my free time to better use.   My job wears me out a bit.  It’s tiring,  but it’s pretty cool.   I get to lick lots of different people, which might sound weird to most of you readers, but trust me, the seniors that I work with, they love it.  If you haven’t figured it out yet, I’m a dog.  Yep,  they tell me I’m special.  Whatever.  I just like my job.

So, anyway, that’s me…  I’ll plan to start writing a little something monthly to honor our hard working caregivers, maybe recognize a few special seniors, and maybe even spread general industry knowledge.   You know a lot of these people that I get to meet have really awesome life stories.   I’ve been able to meet some really cool people!

So back to work…    Here’s some tidbits you might find interesting in the world of Senior Care:

Fun Moore Care Fact of the Month… several of our Caregivers attended a Gala recently for #Empower225.  This is a really cool organization that assists children who have aged out of foster care.  How cool is that?  If you want to learn more about that Organization, you can check them out here:  https://empower225.org/

Here’s a pic of our team at the event.  Good times for a great cause.

Senior Mythbuster Fact of the Month… Hospice Care is not a death sentence!  Hospice does not mean you have given up, and it definitely doesn’t speed up death!   There are many wonderful Hospice Care providers in the Baton Rouge area that can assist clients that need hospice care.  Read more about this topic here…  https://bit.ly/2FXEsQM

That’s all for now.  Signing off.  Peace.

Love,
